    Compilation order in CTP

According to the latest CTP Sneak peek http://lorgonblog.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!701679AD17B6D310!347.entry
we still have to define the compilation order for files manually.
I now wonder why there couldn't be something like ocamldep or the way Visual Haskell automatically handles dependencies for F#.

    Re: Compilation order

I have the same question as u.

Why there are file order and function order?

If a function is module's member. I think it looks like type's member, the member of type don't need order!

    Re: Compilation order

Yeah it would be nice to not have to worry about the order files are created in and the order functions are defined in. Hopefully this will be addressed, or at least a good argument as to why this cannot be done stated.

    Re: Compilation order

    I'll sign that petition.

In the mean time if the samples and examples would provide some comments about how they decided to structure their solutions...

    Re: Compilation order in CTP

I have to say I like the way as it is now, since the dependencies are much more clearer, it is just that I'd like to know their rationale behind it.
