FSI produces invisible output on Linux console

    Hi.

Sorry if it is a repeated question, but I did not find anything related to it.

I was running F# on Windows XP. Now I need to change to Linux.

    My environment is:
    Ubuntu Linux 8.04 (Hardy Heron)
Mono JIT compiler version 1.2.6 (tarball)
    F# 1.9.4.19

The installation was smooth, and I could run FSI out of the box. But every time I got an error and an error is printed (in red) the normal output of FSI becomes invisible. The text is still there, I can cut and past it on gedit, for example, but it is invisible.

Does anyone knows why is this happening and how to fix it?

    Thanks in advance.

    Jeff.

FSI dosn't really work well with gnome-terminal. If you use xterm instead the colloring will be correct. //huusom
