Robert is an experienced software engineer, trainer, published technical author and community leader. Because of an interested in functional programming and the .NET platform he has followed the F# project since its earliest releases and his book “Foundations of F#”, Apress 2007, was the first book to be published on the F#. His book has been updated from the Visual Studio 2010 release of F# and is called “Beginning F#”, Apress 2009. He has spoken at many conferences and an organized several community events including the very successful Functional Programming eXchange in London with Skills Matter and runs the Beginning F# training course with Skills Matter. He lives in Paris and works for French technology consultancy Infinite Square.
